I have been quite the busy little bee. Instead of getting organized for a show I'm doing in September, I decided to take advantage of the unseasonably cool weather to work on my chest of many drawers. The garage gets mighty hot and I get real cranky when the temps go above 80 degrees, so these past few days have been a blessing. I spent four hours sanding this baby with my little sanding block; trust me, a palm sander is now on my wish list. Two coats of Kilz (the chest was finished with oil stain) and two coats of the most delicious deep turquoise and I am more obsessed than I thought possible. Swoon. I still have the little details to do but soon my $20 bargain will be complete and I can't wait. LOTS of work but so worth it...what do you think?
