Kenosha

Today Steve and I drove up to Kenosha.  Exciting, right?  Well it WAS exciting because we drove to Kenosha to see Julie!  She and Ashley (one of the actor/educators on her team) came to Kenosha for a recruiting presentation that ended about 1PM, so we had lunch and caught up.  Lots of laughter, lots of exasperated eye rolling, and even more laughter when Julie asked me to tell a joke.  Any joke. Because I am apparently joke impaired, joke challenged, other joked.  I think I do a pretty decent job but when I'm done, people are either staring at me with confusion and/or disbelief or they're on the floor laughing hysterically...at me, not at the joke.  OK, so maybe I get a bit confused but I give it a good try.  Anyway, it was a great lunch and so worth the hour + drive.  I miss Julie but she loves the work she's doing with CLIMB so I'm thrilled for her. It's so important to love what you do and feel like you're making a difference in the world.  We drove home after lunch and Julie and Ashley drove to Milwaukee, where they'll be teaching seven classes tomorrow and then driving back home to Minneapolis tomorrow night. Yeesh.  I'm tired just thinking about it, so in closing, here's a picture for your visual enjoyment:
