I've been busy making art and going on ghost tours. Yup. Ghost tours. Last night my spouse, my sister, my son and I boarded a bus from Chicago Hauntings for an informative and very enjoyable two hours of facts, freaks, and FUN. I highly recommend it and would love to do another tour of different locations sometime soon. The highlight for me was stopping at the site of the Eastland Disaster. For those unfamiliar with the tragedy or my family involvement, you can read about it here. This was the first time I had the opportunity to see the place where my great-uncle and 843 others souls lost their lives. It was a chilling and sobering experience. My sis took a photo of the plaque that stands in remembrance of the lives that were lost.
Back on the art front, my creative muse has been very active. SO many ideas ricocheting around inside my head that it's difficult to focus on just one project. I did manage to focus long enough to finish up a few albums:

Just one more thing, this time on the blog front: I was asked to be part of a new blog that features Illinois artisans. I'm proud to be part of this group of talented individuals and I'll be posting regularly. Take a peek at Homegrown Illinois and have a lovely, creative weekend.
